We welcome T-Systems as a Platinum Partner who will launch “OpenSource Collaboration” on the Open Telekom Cloud.
The collaboration software is based on open source and includes all Features of grommunio from Vienna, Austria.
In order to meet compliance regulations in the public and private sector as well as the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), T-Systems makes sure all data stays within the boundaries of the EU and will host the collaboration software on servers located in Germany.
grommunio will continue to develop the core components of the software, while T-Systems will host and provide support to their customers with their own team of open source experts.
Due to the flexible interface management provided by grommunio it is possible to integrate “OpenSource Collaboration” into all common office software systems. Furthermore, the solution is compatible with any device or OS including Apple, Windows, Linux, Android and more. For institutions of the public sector and companies that process sensitive data this allows to work in a hybrid or mobile manner without any issues.
This puts data protection concerns into the past, thanks to the open source solution from T-Systems and grommunio, when it comes to wireless collaboration.
