It’s that time again: Just like every year, IT experts from all over the World will meet in Austria: On April 5 and 6 Styria’s capital will be the home of the Grazer Linuxtage (GLT). Since its first announcement in 2002, the major Austrian Open Source event has grown to an integral part of Europe’s IT world. The once tranquil event now is known as one of the most important meeting places for the European open source scene. In 2024, the organizers are expecting almost a thousand visitors, 32 presentations and 14 information stands. All information about the Grazer Linuxtage can be found here.
In its 22nd year, Linux and free software enthusiasts from all over the world gather to discuss, present and develop together under this year’s motto “cloud-free”. Participating in the Grazer Linuxtage is free of charge and does not require registration, as the event is financed entirely by sponsors – such as grommunio.
Because we at grommunio are convinced of the importance of the Grazer Linuxtage and open source in particular, we have taken on the honorable role of main sponsor this year. This also means: Many of our employees will be on site, we have our own stand in the exhibition area and our technicians will give a presentation on the latest features in grommunio on the Saturday of the conference (April 6).

The Grazer Linuxtage will take place on April 5 and 6 at TU Graz. grommunio would like to thank not only to the Technical University of Graz, but also to the countless volunteers, without whom the event would not be possible. 2024 will be the year in which grommunio pushes ahead with its involvement in open source conferences: Next weekend we will be at the Chemnitzer Linux-Tagen, in June at the Bavarian IT Solutions Day.
