“Grammm GmbH from Vienna has published an open source platform of the same name for corporate communication. grammm offers a digital workstation with interfaces to common proprietary and open source programs and is intended to bundle distributed communication channels. According to the provider, the platform is a data protection-compliant European alternative to proprietary software suites from other jurisdictions. It includes email, calendar, video conferencing, chat, data sharing, and built-in apps for communication and collaboration.
Made in Vienna: an alternative to the Exchange server
In their announcement, the Viennese emphasize that the software offers “the first fully functional OutlookAnywhere and MAPI / HTTP implementation”. Demo released
You can now put grammm through its paces.
In addition to the currently released demo version, there is now also the possibility to install the grammm appliance on an own server.
If you don’t want to install your own server yet, you can still test the full spectrum against our demo instance.
All interfaces are already made available here to use your usual applications (e.g. Outlook, Thunderbird, Android, iOS / AppleMail, etc.)
